What we collect
When you submit a track for review, we collect the information you provide in the submission form: your artist name, contact email, track title, links to the release, release date, genre, and any notes you add. We also record when the submission was made and its review status.
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to review your submission and respond to you about it, for example to let you know whether your track was accepted, or to follow up with questions. This is the core purpose you contacted us for, so we rely on contractual necessity / our legitimate interest in responding to your request as the basis for processing it; we do not require a separate consent checkbox for this.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for anything beyond reviewing and, if accepted, publishing the submitted track on SonicStandard.
Retention
We keep submission data for as long as it's relevant to reviewing or publishing your track, and a reasonable period after in case you follow up. You can ask us to delete it at any time; see below.
Your right to deletion
You can request that we delete your submission data at any time by emailing contact. We'll honor deletion requests within a month.
